Today marks a special milestone. As we wrapped up our final puppy class of the year, my mind naturally shifted toward 2026 and how I can best serve the incredible community of dog owners here in Glasgow and it's surrounding areas.

We all know that times are tough right now. Financial pressure is everywhere, and unfortunately, when things get tight, professional dog training is often one of the first things to be put on hold.
The problem is that behaviour doesn't wait for a better economy. When help is delayed, small, manageable issues can quickly escalate into much bigger, more stressful problems for both the dog and the owner.
Why a Community Fund?
I’ve always believed that a lack of funds should never be the reason a dog misses out on the support they need.
My goal for 2026 is to ensure that my high-quality, proven expertise remains accessible. Having previously delivered subsidised sessions for Dogs Trust, I’ve seen first hand how vital this support is. However, I also know that for training to be effective, the expertise must be valued and the commitment must be there.
JP’s Community Fund is my way of bridging that gap. It’s a "Pay It Forward" initiative built on the belief that we are stronger when we support one another.

How It Works: The Matching Principle
This isn’t just a discount scheme; it’s a partnership between me and you.
I Match Your Impact: For every pound donated to the fund by the community, I will match it in the value of my professional time. This effectively doubles the reach of every contribution. So for example for every £35 donated I can provide a £70 private session.
Community Driven: If you’re booking a class and want to "round up" your fee, or if you just want to donate the cost of a coffee, that money goes directly into the pot.
Proactive Support: The fund is specifically designed to provide highly subsidised 1-to-1 sessions for owners who are ready to put in the work but are facing genuine financial barriers.
Real Stories, Real Impact
I want you to see exactly where your support goes. As we move into 2026, I’ll be dedicating a section of this website to sharing success stories from the fund. You’ll be able to see the real-world impact these sessions have on local dogs and their families.
Join the Movement
We are still in the final stages of setting up the official application and donation page, but the intention is clear: 2026 will be about building community.
If you’d like to be the first to know when the fund goes live, or if you’re interested in contributing now, please feel free to reach out to me directly via email or DM.
Thank you for being part of a community that values its dogs, respects expertise, and looks out for its neighbours.
Let’s make a difference together.
